“402 hours…”
“September 25th 2012 - December 21st 2012…”
“A collective process of level grinding to the level 1600…”(16 characters max level 100)
“192 total weapons to collect…”
“A minimum of 415 story mode battles required for absolute completion…”
“200 items to collect in total…”
“126 items to create in total…”
“This is what it took for me to 100% complete this game. It took me 4 days shy of three full months to complete to the last detail.”
“This is one of the longest and most fun games I’ve played at all, and too me at least, one of the best games on PS3/WII… And yet… It has one of the worst anticlimax endings i’ve ever seen. You complete all stories with all characters(or at least I did, to retain some sense of continuity) before unlocking the 15th, the demon queen, and when completing all of her routes you unlock and fight as the demon king. When you play as him you go three routes each more linear than even Final Fantasy XIII. You go down straight lines and battle the predetermined enemies until you hit the end of that route with no sense of story whatsoever(everyone’s prior routes had options of who to fight. with him there is no semblance of choice at all) at the end of all three, and after repeating one of them you have unlocked 100% completion for story mode.”
“…………………..”
“This very much angers me because everything was so great and interesting and awesome(for the most part) until now that ending the game with the worst linearity possible seems like the stupidest thing they could have done!”
“You play as the fucking demon king come back from the depths of hell to reclaim the earth for himself! Why not have his story modes just be him killing every enemy in the game with all those same options from previous character routes! A SORT OF BOSS RUSH MODE OF SORTS! But No capcom had to be lazy asses(this game is part of a series with about 5 current games and this one is by far the shortest)”
“This is still a great game that will keep you occupied for A VERY LONG TIME, and is still loads of fun with the most diverse cast of characters ever seen in a hack and slash game. If you were on the fence about it or just want a new game to play for the holidays or just in general I would still recommend it because it has great gameplay and a great story. It just suffers from the same problem as L.A. Noire, where it has great play and story and buildup, but just a terrible and anticlimactic ending. However in this game 97%(I did the math) is still really fun and good and interesting.”
“Look my review score of 8/10 still stands, but just know that end game content is a little lacking.”
